In September 2018, the number of poor people (population with per capita expenditure per month below the Poverty Line) in West Kalimantan was 369.73 thousand people (7.37 percent), a decrease of 17.35 thousand people compared to the condition in March 2018 amounting to 387.08 thousand people (7.77 percent).
