The Result of Long Form Population Census 2020 of Kapuas Hulu

INDONESIA is a country with enormous potential. In terms of population, Indonesia is the largest country fourth in the world after China, India and the United States. With the right strategy, residents as a potential resource can become the strength of the nation to realize the ideals of an advanced Indonesia. In 2022, exactly one decade of Indonesia's demographic bonus, BPS is committed to completing the mandate to implement Advanced Population Census (Long Form SP2020) with various challenges amid the Covid-19 pandemic. By the permission of God Yang Almighty accompanied by the hard work of all parties, the Long Form SP2020 data collection has been completed. Long Form SP2020 carries a big mission as a Benchmark for Indonesian population indicators, a Portrait of Indonesian Demographics after past the 2nd wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic, evaluate development achievements in the population sector in the SDGs and RPJMN, as well as being the basis for determining Indonesia's development policies towards Golden Indonesia 2045. Even though it was carried out in the midst of a pandemic, there were several innovations implemented in the Long Form SP2020, one of which was is the use of various modes of data collection (PAPI, CAPI, CATI, and CAWI). For the first time Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) is applied in the history of the population census in Indonesia.The journey of implementation and results of the Long Form SP2020 is briefly presented in the Long Outcome Population Indicators booklet SP2020 forms. This booklet presents a comprehensive picture of the state of Indonesia's population based on the results of the Long Form SP2020. Basic data coverage of the Long Form SP2020 results are indicators of fertility, mortality, mobility, disability, education, and housing. The provision of demographic parameters and population characteristics is expected to be able to produce indicators to monitor and evaluate the achievement of SDGs and RPJMN targets in the population sector.
